In order to carry out our role efficiently and effectively, the detailed work of the Governing Board is delegated to and undertaken by several committees, which are sub-committees of the main Board. In addition to attending the Full Governing Board meetings, all Directors sit on at least one sub-committee. The sub-committees report back to termly meetings of the Full Governing Board at which broader issues are discussed and agreed.
The committees are:
- Audit and Finance
- HR Operations & Staff Well being
- Curriculum Standards & Pupil Well being
- Catholic Life and Well Being
These sub-committees are built around the OFSTED framework. This enables Directors to review the key performance indicators across all schools in the SJPIIMA as well as supporting all our Local Governing Bodies. These sub-committees meet at least 6 times per year. All sub-committees are to ensure that our Catholic Values underpin all conduct and decisions made. Any meetings are calendared and reported to the Board of Directors.
